Mario was born in Buenos Aires and since the start of his professional musical career in 1980, he has always performed with the most outstanding Artists from Argentina , such as: Pedro Aznar, David Lebón, Silvina Garré, Estela Raval and Sergio Denis , among others.

Since 1993, Mario has played a very important role in the music of the legendary guitarist AL DI MEOLA.. He also participated as composer and associate producer in the albums Orange & Blue (1994), The Infinite Desire (1996), The Grand Passion (2000), Flesh on Flesh (2002), the DVD "One of this Nights" (2004), Live in Leverkusen, (2006) and the CD "Consequence of Chaos" (2007).

He realized a vast number of international performances and shows, as well as recordings with: Al Di Meola, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Steve Gadd, John Patittuci, Marc

Also Mario wrote Musical arrangements recorded by  The Toronto Symphony, and live performance with the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra from Poland, and The Moscow Symphony Orchestra at the Peter Tchaikovzky Hall in Moscow, Russia.

After all these years of musical experience next to the best Jazz Musicians in the World, Mario records the C.D.: “From the Labyrinth” via his Record Label: “Parmi Music”, and thus, offers several performances with his Contemporary Jazz Group in Argentina and Chile at the “Festival de Musica junto al Rio” for an audience of 7.000 people, transmitted by the Radio National Network “ Caracol”, and was national televised 12 times by ARTV through out this country.

Between 2002 and 2007, Mario has been performing with Al Di Meola, touring America, Africa, Asia and Europe. 

In mid 2007, Mario returned to Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a new CD in which he combined elements of tango – jazz – folkloric and classical music, as well as South American rhythms and all the freedom, the excitement and spontaneity of jazz improvisation.

Mario Parmisano present the premiere of the album “A mis Viejos” in Buenos Aires on November 25th,  2007 at “La Trastienda” with a great success and reviews on the local media, and also televised to the all country.

Mario keep playing his Music in Argentina,  and looking forward to present his new  CD  “A mis Viejos”  in the U.S.A. and Europe.
